Maestro Tjeknavorian recently received
Austrian Presidential Gold Medal for Artistic Merit.

In May 2015 Loris Tjeknavorian received the Ferdowsi Medal from the Ministry of Culture for his four operas based on the Shahname: Rostam & Sohrab, Rostam & Esfandyar, Siyawash and Zahak.

The decoration of Omar Khayam & Attar ( Neyshabour), given to Tjeknavorian for his contributions to Iranian culture.
